Hello Backers,
We want to start this update by wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. We have prepared a greeting that you can share with your friends and family who were to receive Golchi as their Christmas Gift.

There is a lot that goes in background and we feel that we should give you all complete visibility. We wanted to share all the improvements that have been made in the Golchi. It's not just giving you what we promised, we are committed to delivering the best possible Golchi bottle to you.
1. A double walled vacuum insulated plate has been added to the top surface to the middle compartment. This layer will further improve temperature insulation of the top flask
2. We have added a hygiene cover to the sipper on top lid. We felt that since our bottle is invertible and can be placed on surface from either end, we need to be very thorough with hygiene concerns. This sipper cover will completely eliminate the possibility of sipper ever coming in contact with the surface when bottle is placed upside down
3. We have improved the design of handle. We have made it more sturdy and also given it a locking mechanism so that it does not move freely.
Your contribution has helped us bring this product to life and that means a lot to us. Our real success will be to deliver a product that you all love.
We are a small team and each and every member is bootstrapping multiple tasks. We are on top of all activities. Situation is under control. This product is being made for the first time so we are being cautious with each step involved in manufacturing. Hence there has been some delay. Based on current status, we are targeting completion of tooling by January. We will then start mass production. Majority of the team will spend significant time in January in China to personally monitor the manufacturing. We shall keep you all posted of all major milestones.
Again, thanks for all your trust. Please feel confident. We encourage you to share your concerns but also advise you all to stay positive. Golchi belongs as much to each one of you as to us. We take pride in having you all as part of our Golchi family.

Hello Backers,
We are back with few updates on the progress that Golchi has made so far.
New Team Members:
In our quest to deliver a high quality product we have expanded our team to include a full time Design Expert with 15 years of industry experience and a Tooling Consultant with almost 20 years in the industry. Immediately after the campaign ended on Kickstarter we spent approximately 20 days discussing the design and tooling challenges with these experts. Your Golchi's design has now been made manufacturing ready and has moved to the tooling phase.
Manufacturer Identified:
We have teamed up with our Manufacturer in China who comes with more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing Plastic and Steel products. The manufacturer has an in-house design team that works on improving innovative products like Golchi who have helped us find solutions to some initial issues that we had encountered.
Manufacturing progress:
We are currently in the process of getting moulds / tools prepared which is the key step in the entire manufacturing process. For a simple product, tooling requires a minimum of 30 days but for an innovative product like Golchi where we have a total of 24 moulds to be prepared, it can take upto 45 to 60 days. We expect tooling to be completed by end of November and to have our first few samples ready by 1st week of December. Once the samples are approved, we will begin manufacturing your Golchi bottles and tea infusers.

Golchi Classic is available in 6 colours: Midnight Black, Aqua, White, Forest Green, Deep Red and Purple.
Golchi Skyline:
The Golchi Skyline is available in 6 colours: White, Midnight Black, Aqua, Deep Red, Forest Green and Purple.
Golchi Nature:
Golchi Nature is available in 6 base colours: Midnight Black, Aqua, White, Forest Green, Deep Red and Purple. The Midnight Black and Purple have white pattern and the rest four colours have black pattern.
Golchi Bold:
Golchi Bold is available in Midnight Black with 3 colour variants: Orange, Blue & Green.
